Speculative History
History, a State of Mind
To some people, history is what happened the day before they were born. To others, the story of human habitation, our cultures, great cities and achievements go back centuries. To me, I live in history now. Someday someone might explore my environs and wonder how I lived or about my time.
The following works touch on collapsing time and space, or the small moments which lead to the milestones of human history—or the basic humanity which is overlooked by big events.
